Tri-County Insurance Services LLC began in 1981 in the home of Fred and Janet Evans and moved into a store-front office in Saint Paris in 1987. Located in west-central Ohio, the agency offers a full line of property and casualty insurance. The agency has a strong tradition of professional development of its entire staff, provides excellent customer service, and strives to recommend the proper coverage for all situations.
Tri-County Insurance Services is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of OH, the Better Business Bureau, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the National Federation of Independent Business.
Fred started Tri-County Insurance Services LLC in 1981 and has 32 years of experience with ag-related insurance. A longtime resident of Saint Paris, he has dairy and grain farmed and worked as a steam engineer for Cargill, Inc.
He is a past president of Our Town Saint Paris, active in his church, a member of FFA Alumni, and a board member for the Champaign County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Fred enjoys traveling, watching basketball, and spending time with his family.

Janet grew up on the family grain and livestock farm near Cedarville, OH and was very active in 4-H. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Otterbein College and a Masters of Education from Wright State University. She taught at High Street Elementary in Piqua for 10 years.
Janet partnered with her husband, Fred, to start Tri-County Insurance Services LLC, and has 26 years of property and casualty insurance experience. She is a Trustee for Saint Paris Public Library, active in her church, and a former 4-H adviser. Janet enjoys quilting, traveling, and spending time with family.
Dick, a life-long resident of Shelby County, Ohio, has an agricultural background as a life-time farmer, now retired, and seven years as a crop insurance adjuster. He has 24 years of insurance experience in crop and farm insurance.
Dick and his wife, Martha, live on the family farm and enjoy traveling, watching sports and 4-H/FFA activities that their grandchildren participate in, and spending time with family.
Justin grew up in rural Champaign County and has always had a passion for agriculture helping his dad, Fred, bale hay and feed livestock. He enjoyed various 4-H projects that he competed with at both the county and state fairs. He played basketball throughout Junior and Senior High School as well as in college, and still enjoys playing today. Early exposure to the insurance industry has helped Justin to be a valuable asset to the agency. He attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.
Justin is a 4-H advisor, actively involved in his church, a member of the Champaign County Ag Society, serves on the board for the OH Hi-Point Finance Education Committee, is an educator/consultant for the Emmett J. Vaughn National Agribusiness Conference with a focus on Advanced Multi-Peril Crop Insurance, Total Weather Insurance, Weather Derivatives, Technology in Agriculture, and serves on the board for Leadership Champaign County with the responsibility of planning Ag Day.
Cecelia was raised in and continues to reside in the heart of rural Champaign County. Growing up on her family's farm she developed a love and appreciation for the area and people in the community. She spent her youth exploring their farm's woods, barns, corn cribs and creek with her younger brother, participating in 4- H, playing soccer and working part time. After earning a Bachelor's degree from Wright State University she worked in insurance before taking a hiatus to have and stay home with her three young children. She is excited to be working in the community she loves and eager to serve the insurance needs of our clients.
Cecelia enjoys volunteering for non- profit organizations, continuing her education, volunteering at her children's school, attending programs at her local library and taking classes at the YMCA. Cecelia and her husband enjoy taking their family to museums, parks, drive- in movie theaters, zoos and anywhere they've never been before. They love to visit family and friends around the US and spend time enjoying their backyard when they're not adventuring.
